Pamela has taught classes and workshops in playwriting and creative writing for Agnes Scott College, Ben Franklin Academy, Emory University’s Center for Life-Long Learning, Working Title Playwrights, the Academy Theatre, and the Association of Theatre in Higher Education Playwrights Program. She has a Ph.D. in Performance Theory from Emory University and has been a participant in the Kennedy Center’s famed Playwright’s Intensive. Contact Pamela to discuss available workshops.


Pamela has worked with new plays development throughout the country for the past 14 years as the Artistic Director of multiShades.atlanta and as the founding producer of PlayWorks 2000, a nine-year old program sponsored by the Association of Theatre in Higher Education Playwrights Group. She is available on an hourly fee or project fee basis to read and evaluate scripts, to teach formatting and submission protocols, and to provide script doctoring services.


Pamela writes articles on theatre and the arts for ShowGuide magazine and for The Dramatist. She has been featured in The Loop, Atlanta Theatre Weekly, the Decatur Dispatch, and the Georgia Shakespeare web magazine. She has been the editor for several company newsletters and has served as a grants writer for The Academy Theatre and non-profit organizations in Oregon and Washington.
